Following Jon Moxley toping the men’s PWI 500 this past August, current WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley has gone and nabbed the top spot on this year’s PWI Women’s 100.
PWI took to Twitter to make this reveal, with Bayley squaring off against longtime rival Sasha Banks on the cover for the upcoming November issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
Of course, Bayley was quick to take to her own Twitter to celebrate this hugely impressive achievement.
The top five spots on the PWI Women’s 100 are dominated by WWE talent, with Becky Lynch at #2, Asuka at #3, Charlotte Flair at #4, and Sasha Banks at #5. Fleshing out the top ten, we have Hikaru Shida at #6, Tessa Blanchard at #7, Riho at #8, Io Shirai at #10, and Maya Iwatani at #10.
The PWI Women’s 100 has been in existence since 2008 – Awesome Kong being the first winner of the award – and Bayley has previously been ranked fifth in 2016 and 2017, and sixth in 2019.
This year’s PWI Women’s 100 issue will be released on November 10 – complete with an exclusive interview with Bayley.
